Tri Delta Leaders: Refer Yourself
The Leadership Cultivation and Selection Committee (LCSC) is responsible for developing slates for the Executive Board, Tri Delta Housing Board, Foundation Board of Trustees, and the succeeding LCSC. Additionally, the LCSC refers Tri Delta leaders for other volunteer service and special assignments. If you are interested in serving Tri Delta as a Fraternity leader, please complete this Leadership Interest Form so the LCSC can learn more about your unique strengths and experiences.
EXECUTIVE BOARD
The Executive Board is Tri Delta’s overall governing body, responsible for the strategic vision and continued health of the organization. The Executive Board ensures that the Fraternity is positioned to be a viable organization long into the future. The Executive Board comprises one President and up to six additional Directors. Members may serve up to three 2-year terms, plus two 2-year terms as Fraternity President.
TRI DELTA FOUNDATION BOARD OF TRUSTEES
The Foundation Board governs the 501(c)3 entity that is charged with raising funds for scholarships, leadership grants and emergency assistance which benefit Tri Delta chapters, and members. The board manages an asset portfolio of nearly $14.5 million, and each trustee manages an individual portfolio of donors. The Foundation Board comprises one Chair, one Vice Chair, one Secretary/Treasurer, and up to eight additional Trustees. Members may serve up to four 2-year terms, plus two 2-year terms as Foundation Board Chair.
TRI DELTA HOUSING BOARD
Tri Delta Housing is a non-profit corporation that supports, manages and grows all aspects of Tri Delta housing. The Board oversees an asset portfolio of more than $40 million. The Board comprises one Chair, one Vice Chair, and up to five additional Directors. Members may serve up to three 2-year terms, including tenure as Board Chair and may include non-Tri Deltas.
LEADERSHIP CULTIVATION AND SELECTION COMMITTEE
The LCSC is responsible for evaluating and cultivating Fraternity leadership for service in elected and appointed positions. The committee develops leadership slates for the Executive Board, the Tri Delta Housing Board, the Foundation Board and the succeeding LCSC. The only committee elected by the Convention body, the group comprises nine alumnae members and two appointed collegiate members, who are appointed to serve on the committee in the spring following Convention. Alumnae members may serve up to two consecutive 2-year terms.
OTHER SERVICE / SPECIAL ASSIGNMENTS
In addition to the Boards and Committee described above, the LCSC also works closely with the Senior Director of Volunteer Engagement to refer candidates for other volunteer service. The LCSC may also recommend Tri Delta leaders for special assignments including, but not limited to, Fraternity committees and/or task forces, NPC service, and other volunteer leadership opportunities.
